James Jones  |  Managing Partner
James brings 20 years’ experience developing innovative sustainability and performance-driven solutions and communications strategies for Fortune 500 companies, mid- to small-size businesses, nonprofits, NGO's, academia and grassroots and community organizations.

His work includes social entrepreneurship and environmental sustainability, organizational effectiveness and integration strategy design and execution, brand development and communications, branded promotions and events, market research and Competitive Intelligence (CI), stakeholder engagement and training and collaborative leadership and team development.

He has consulted for and worked with PepsiCo, Tropicana, Johnson & Johnson, Wyeth, Arnold Worldwide, Citizens Bank, Fidelity Investments, Volkswagen, Clinique, University of Massachusetts Center for Collaborative Leadership, the Greater Boston Business Council, The Boston Foundation, Massachusetts Municipal Association, the Democratic National Committee and numerous local, state and national political campaigns.

Prior to 360 Sustainability Group, James led Arnold Worldwide’s sustainability development, research and communications initiatives for its clients. In addition, he has held positions in both the private and public sectors, including Associate Director of the Center for Collaborative Leadership, University of Massachusetts where he studied and developed collaborative leadership and social entrepreneurship programs and partnerships. He served as Managing Director of the Greater Boston Business Council where he developed economic and social innovation initiatives that benefited the Greater Boston and New England area.

James was also the Director of the Massachusetts Municipal Association’s Councilor and Selectmen’s Association, where he conducted public policy research on a wide variety of issues, including land use management and shared sustainable resource development. Early in his career, James gained valuable skills in management, client relations and transformational leadership as an Assistant Vice President at Putnam Investments. At Putnam, he was also a senior member of an integrated team that collaborated with PricewaterhouseCoopers to introduce and execute its Just-in-Time (JIT) process improvement and organizational effectiveness program.

James was a recipient of the 2004 Emerging Leaders Fellowship from the Center for Collaborative Leadership, University of Massachusetts.  He studied Political Science at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and has a degree in Community Planning from the University of Massachusetts.
  
 

  Vicki Milledge, PhD | Principal Consultant, Project:Synchro
Vicki has over 30 years’ experience in human resources management, project coaching and collaborative leadership development in the high tech and finance sectors, higher education, consulting and executive training.

Her expertise in these areas combined with her research and application in environmental management and sustainability gives Vicki a unique set of skills that enables her to work with 360s clients from sustainable vision-setting and process-mapping to employee engagement, project execution and measurement.

Vicki’s breadth of experience in the field of environmental sustainability includes her current work facilitating the collaborative efforts of environmental organizations in San Luis Obispo County, CA and consulting with them on the design of programs and projects. In addition, she designed and delivered MBA-level environmental management courses at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Vicki also did the first dissertation on environmental issues in the Organizational Behavior and Industrial Relations PhD Program at the University of California, Berkeley – Goal Setting and Task Performance at the Organizational Level: Studies of Emissions Reduction Goals and Performance.

Prior to and currently in her role as Principal Consultant with Project: Synchro, Vicki has trained and coached over 500 managers from both non-profit and for-profit organizations.  In addition, she served for seven years as the human resource manager for Apple Computer’s Macintosh Group, where she worked directly for Steve Jobs and developed an “in-house” executive search team.  She is credited with personally finding and hiring over half of the original Macintosh development team.

At the University of Massachusetts Boston (UMB), College of Management, Vicki taught Organizational Behavior and Environmental Management in the MBA program and Managerial Ethics to undergraduates. She also served as Program Manager for the Emerging Leaders Program of the Center for Collaborative Leadership at UMB, where she designed and delivered training in collaborative skills and coached project teams of diverse leaders from corporations and non-profits across the greater Boston area.

As a Project Coach, Vicki’s attention to detail and ability to organize complex sustainability projects into doable steps helps clients move smoothly through complicated issues or projects.  Her clients describe her style as always having a hand on your back, sometimes supporting and sometimes pushing you forward.

Leslie Lukacs | Project Manager, SCS Engineers
Leslie Lukacs has been employed by SCS Engineers for the past eight years and specializes in the design and implementation of comprehensive sustainability programs for large institutions, venues, and events throughout the U.S. She has implemented diversion programs at national football stadiums, government facilities, universities, theme parks, convention centers, performing art centers, fairgrounds, and numerous large events.

Leslie is the founder and Chair of the Venues and Special Events Recycling Council, an organization dedicated to increasing the awareness of implementing green programs at venues and special events. The Venues and Special Events Recycling Council was the lead sponsor to a California venues and event recycling bill that was signed into law by Governor Schwarzenegger in 2004.

Leslie currently serves as Vice President of the California Resource Recovery Association, the state's largest resource conservation organization.

  Brett Marz | Partner, Bamko

Kevin Kelly | President, Financial Services, Miller Zell, Inc.
Kevin brings 17 years of diverse marketing and account management experience in the financial services sector to the Miller Zell team and 360 Sustainability Group, including brand and retail positioning, POP communication strategies, retail merchandising program development, retail branch design, and out-of-home media strategies. He has helped clients around the world deliver on their customer experience promise including Wells Fargo,  Regions Bank, JPMorgan Chase, Citizens Bank and H&R Block to name a few.

Kevin is the former President & COO of BrandPartners Retail and former Chief Marketing Officer of BrandPartners Group -  a New York based brand agency. He holds a BA from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from Boston University.

  Gordon Fisher | Director, Fisher Electrical Consulting Ltd., Edinburgh, Scotland
Gordon is enthusiastic about sustainable building and practical environmental conservation work and advises clients and has lead volunteer teams in this field. He is passionate about minimizing adverse environmental impacts during the construction and final operation of buildings.

Gordon is an enthusiastic Electrical Designer. He has a wide range of skills having worked with prestigious, multi-disciplinary Consulting Engineers in the UK, including Buro Happold and Hoare Lea, the UK's largest mechanical and electrical consulting engineer. He has also worked for mechanical and electrical contractors, including Derry Building Services.

Gordon’s ability to minimize spatial requirements for electrical plant and distribution equipment helps to maximize usable space in buildings. He also has a good understanding of the concerns of other disciplines within professional teams, making him a valuable negotiator and facilitator among cross-functional teams.

Gordon has a degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University, and a strong appreciation and understanding of Mechanical Engineering.  He is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Institute of Directors.

  Dr. Kenneth A. Leiper | Research Fellow, Biofuel Research Centre, Napier University, Edinburgh, UK & Research Manager, Fisher Electrical Consulting
Kenneth is employed as a Research Fellow by the Biofuel Research Centre, at Napier University in Edinburgh, UK. In addition, he is the Research Manager with Fisher Electrical Consulting Ltd.

His position at Fisher Electrical reflects his detailed understanding of biochemistry and a more general technological appreciation. This unusual combination of aptitudes in combination with his good interpersonal skills is the fundamental source of the considerable benefits that Kenneth brings to clients.

Kenneth shares 360s interest in practical environmental conservation work and also serves as a volunteer leader with a number of organizations.

Before Napier University and Fisher Electrical Consulting, Kenneth held positions with Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh and the North British Distillery Co Ltd.  Kenneth has a PhD and MSc from Heriot Watt University.

  Daniel Jones | Market & Economic Research Analyst
Dan provides clients with strategic insights into sustainability through market and economic research and analysis.  Dan's interest in environmental sustainability started during his five years as a trader at the Boston Stock Exchange.

His research into the financial performance of environmentally responsible companies launched his desire to help shape sustainable solutions for companies that are both economically and environmentally advantageous.

Dan has a degree in English Literature from the University of Virginia.

  Kristen Conrad | Public Relations & Communications Specialist

Kristen helps develop public relations and marketing strategies for clients that are seeking to communicate their sustainability initiatives. She began her career as an Account Coordinator at Emerge PR, Quincy, MA.  While at Emerge, Kristen provided strategic counsel to companies looking to build visibility and brand loyalty and helped secure top tier press coverage for companies such as Tizor Systems, good2gether, and Newell Rubbermaid.

Kristen’s interest in environment sustainability began after studying abroad in Madrid in the spring of 2007. Kristen offers PR, Communications and Research solutions to help clients develop sustainable strategies to better enhance their economic, environmental and social value.

Kristen is a cum laude graduate with a B.A. in Public Relations/Communications from Suffolk University, Boston, MA. Her passion for the environment and developing sustainable solutions has inspired her to pursue a Masters degree in Environmental Studies.
